A rich programme is planned this weekend with the famous Walloon Celebration in Liège!

Friday: Opening Ceremony, Free Concerts
Saturday: Mass, Free Concerts
Sunday: Academic sessions, Folklore procession, Free concerts, sports activities

But that’s not all! Le Tortillard (small tourist train), will criss-cross the streets of Liège to show you the city in a different way. 😊

“Good people drink good beer” at la Cité de la bière 2019 !

From 12 to 14 april 2019, you enjoy « La Cite de la Bière » at Musée de la Vie Wallonne, an annual beer celebration in Liège !

On the programme :

Degustation, discoveries of local but also foreign breweries, “zythologie” initiation ( brewery’s studies), dj set and a lot of other activities.

Make a mental picture of it : the sun, a good handmade beer, some music and a great atmosphere. You don’t need anything else !


This weekend is gonna be sporty in Liège !

It starts on Friday with the BueRun ! This running, as its names almost indicates, starts in the famous stairs of Montagne de Bueren, crosses the park of the Citadelle and finally passes through the historical center. This tour is to be done twice and ends at the top of the 374 steps. This is really hard !
You can rest on Saturday and take you bike on Sunday for the famous bike race Liège-Bastogne-Liège ! It begins in the center of Liège and go to the steepest coasts of the region. It ends up at the top of the Côte d’Ans which spices up the final sprint !

The festival of micro-breweries from Liège is back this weekend! These Friday 8, Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 April you will have the opportunity to savour the home-made quality productions of about fifteen small- and medium-sized breweries of the province gathered for “La cite de la bière”. Tomorrow from  4 pm,  the ‘Musée de la vie wallonne‘ is the place to be for an entertaining weekend full of discoveries! Cheers!
