The Apartment:
The apartment is composed of a living room with a dining nook, a kitchen, one bedroom and a bathroom. It is fully equipped and has, in addition, a dishwasher, an air conditioner and a triple glazed window. The building also has a common laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
Access:
The apartment is on the 3rd floor. The building has 3 floors in total and no elevator.
The neighborhood:
The apartment is located in the “Rue Saint-Jean-en-Isle”, the pedestrian area of Liège, just a hop away from the Opera and on the fringe of the Carré.
In the evening, from Thursday to Sunday, the streets of Le Carré are noisy.
The neighborhood is rather lively, due to the fact that this is the pedestrian area with lots of bars, restaurants and pubs.
One thing is for sure: you will certainly not be bored because you have everything you need right around you. The apartment is also surrounded by many little shops (cheese retailers, butchers, bakeries, laundry shops, night shops, florists…).
As for the cultural aspect, the movie theater “Sauvenière”, the Cité Miroir, the Reflektor and the Royal Opera of Wallonia are only a few feet away and you will only need 5 to 10 minutes to get to the Theatre of Liège.
Transportation:
Do you enjoy walking? The city is small enough to walk everywhere by foot and to have access to everything it offers. Although, in case you:
- Need a train? The apartment is close to the train stations Liège-Carré and Liège-Saint-Lambert.
- Need to take a bus? The closest bus stops are less then 300m away and the Place Saint-Lambert (the pivotal point for the public transport network) is 5 minutes away by foot.
- Have a car? It’s impossible to access the apartment by car because it is a pedestrian street. There are, however, Parking spots available in the neighboring streets or in parking lots (closest ones: Neujean, Cathédrale an Sauvenière).
