A newly renovated, tastefully decorated apartment, with an ideal location because it’s close to all conveniences and road networks.
The Appartement
It can accommodate 2 people and is composed of a kitchenette, a lounge, a dressing room, a double bedroom, a bathroom (with a shower) and a separate toilet. On sunny days, you can make the most of the terrace, which is accessible through the bedroom.
Access
The apartment is situated on the 3rd floor of a house without a lift.
The Area
The apartment is situated on Rue Saint-Gilles, a commercial street which has everything you could possibly want: bakery, butchers, snacks, bars, restaurants, book shop, supermarket, banks and little shops. The owner recommends the pork thigh sandwiches from ‘André’, the small dishes from the ‘Schmitz’ deli and the pastries from ‘Licour’.
The Jardin Botanique, a beautiful park with 3 hectors and around 400 trees and bushes (some of which are exceptional) is only a few 100 meters away. The park is great for jogs, picnics or relaxing strolls.
In order to get to the Guillemins train station, it’s a 15 minute walk. The quarter near the station is also bursting with some of my favorite places: bakeries (we recommend ‘Eggen-Nols’), butchers (people come from afar for the ‘Boucherie Ardennaise’), book shop, snacks, little shops, supermarkets (Aldi and Carrefour) and restaurants (the ‘Concordia’ is the crème de la crème)
What’s more, it’s only a 15 minute walk to get to the main city center (with boutiques, cinemas, the opera, the theatre,…)
Transport
Coming by car? You should be made aware that parking isn’t easy during the day! The nearest paying carpark is ‘l’Anneau d’Or’, which is situated on the rue Sur-la-Fontaine.
By bus? There is a bus stop 400m away.
By train? The Guillemins station is a 15 minutes’ walk away.
Arrival
The owner will be at the appartment to welcome you and give you the keys. She will be happy to let you know all the best things to do in the area.

Depending on the length of your stay, the amount of the security deposit varies and is calculated as follows:
For a stay of less than 1 week, the amount of the deposit corresponds to 25% of the rent.
For a stay of 10 days or more, the amount of the deposit corresponds to 40% of the rent.
For a stay of 1 month or more, the amount of the deposit corresponds to 70% of the rent.
For a stay of 6 months and more, the amount of the deposit corresponds to 1 month of the rent.
For a stay of 1 year and more, the amount of the deposit corresponds to 2 months of rent.
Concerning the cleaning:
For rentals of more than 6 months, in addition to the cleaning at the end of the stay, an additional fee of 60€ VAT will be charged.
